Why This Video Is Better Than A TV Commercial

Why This Video Is Better Than A TV Commercial

I recently got accepted into a Comcast program for small business owners.

The 30-second commercial you see below started running today.

They're going to run it a total of 2004 times on CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, and FOX Business Network 67% of the time and on a variety of other channels for the other 33%.

Last week, I applied to be a presenter at a conference that's coming up this fall.

Part of the application process required submitting a TWENTY-second video for the conference to use to promote my session, if I'm accepted as a presenter.

Being able to make short, high-quality videos is a skill that will open many doors for the people who have it.

And businesspeople who do not have this skill will increasingly find themselves unable to even apply for the best opportunities.

I encourage you to accept the fact that video is a part of conducting business now.

We're rapidly getting to the point where, for business professionals, not being able to make a short, professional video is going to be a form of digital illiteracy.

What's the lifetime value of knowing how to read?

What's the lifetime cost of NOT knowing how to read?

That's where we're headed with regard to video communication skills.
