Your goal is to give people just enough information for them to know if they need to contact you for more information.
When most people come to see me, they have a pitch that's way too long and complicated...often too complicated for them to even be able to deliver it.
Be Yourself
Here's a tip: forget about using industry jargon or all those big words and highfalutin language you wrote on your website.
Nobody understands what that stuff means and you don't talk like that in everyday life, so there's no chance you'll be able to deliver those words in a video. Writing something down and actually saying it are two different things.
Don't write an elevator pitch that you can't say. Just tell people what you do in simple language that your grandmother would understand.
To deliver an effective elevator pitch, you have to deliver your message in a way that anybody can understand it. People can't refer business to you if they don't understand what you do.
